Bulk Food Oils
Any top quality bait needs a fat content to balance its nutritional profile, and our specially treated Bulk Food Oils are tailor-made to provide just the right source of naturally occurring fatty acids.
We all know that in order to be effective you need to include a satisfactory amount of protein in a bait, and so it is with fat. Fatty acids are as vital in their way as are the essential amino acids. Both are a prime requirement in a balanced food and there is no better way of providing these vital fatty acids than in a bulk food oil.
We call them food oils because that’s exactly what they are – food. Their make up has been structured to add balance to any well formulated base mix by increasing the amount of necessary dietary fat in the bait. Fat has a sparing action on protein, allowing bait protein to be more widely assimilated into growth.
At the same time oils provide the quickest and most easily converted source of energy and, as nothing can exist without energy, it figures that fats (oils) are as essential as any other factor in nutrition.

Total Hemp Oil (250ml)
Widely regarded as nature’s most perfectly balanced oil, Total Hemp Oil is produced from finest quality cold pressed hempseed, a method of production that ensures none of its essential fatty acids (EFAs) are destroyed.This oil really is packed with goodies; boasting an impressive specification that includes Omega 3, 6 and 9 EFAs, amino acids and Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA), in itself a rich source of Vitamin E.
Fish Feed Oil
Fish feed inducing oils have been very popular over the last few seasons and, as such, this product has been one of our best selling bulk oils since its launch in May 1990. A blend of several different fish oils that combine to make a very effective additive, which at 20ml per 16oz/500g will increase the effectiveness of any fishmeal bait.
Blended Fish Oil
Another very popular oil that has produced some superb results, particularly in our Fishfood Mix. Our Blended Fish Oil smells slightly stronger than Fish Feed Oil but the level is the same – 20ml per 16oz/500g of dry mix.
The Complete Food Oil (250ml)
A combination of Fish Oils and Vegetable Oils put together for us by Lee Jackson. Basically this is the ultimate nutritional bulk oil for use in any type of mix, not just fishmeals. We sell The Complete Food Oil in 250ml bottles, so you can keep it as fresh as possible. This product should be kept refrigerated at all times. Dosage is relatively low for a bulk oil – 10-15ml per 16oz/500g.
Salmon Oil
An absolutely stunning fat/food source that has become the number one choice of many Nutrabaits users throughout Europe. This is one of our bulk oils that doesn’t thicken in cold temperatures and, as such, it is ideal for all-year-round use.
Winterised Pilchard Oil
A very popular oil, mainly we think because it doesn’t thicken, irrespective of the temperature – obviously an ideal additive for winter use and one that can certainly make fishmeal baits in winter a much more viable proposition. A very subtle smelling oil and one that is pale yellow in colour.
